Hi - have seen a few post on this and I'm still having issues. Since I upgraded to 4.5, if I leave the wifi area, my call is dropped - no problem the other way around. I have read the guide and the other posts and my settings all look good. There was a mention about a handoff setting - all I see is cell tower to UMA handoff...nothing the other way around and nothing to change.

Although I really like the UMA feature and it does save me a ton of $'s, the dropped calls really stinks! And if it automatically connects to a saved wifi profile...I don't even know it until my call is dropped.

    Any ideas?

That may be a good argument for waiting until T-Mobile approves a working OS version.

Rolling back to v4.2.2.180 may not be desirable, but it is the Gold standard for T-Mobile and UMA.

There may be another solution, Rogers has just released their 8320 v4.5.0.81 package. That device is not in their current catalogue, but is going to be marketed for UMA use.

I upgraded to and the first thing I did was call someone, leave my house and tested to see if the call would drop....and it did so the upgrade did not solve the problem for me.

Just got the 8120 and having the same problems... I've found an option for "allow inter-access point handover"... does this fix anything?

That allows the phone to handover between routers with the same SSID, not likely to help you at home unfortunately. Have you tried .93?
