Before using my 9700 , i was on omnia 2.

the omnia had this cool call cache thingy , whereby if you were to dial a number say 6123-4567

u hit the 1st 3 numbers on the screen 612

then all the numbers you ever dialed staring with 612 will appear.

somewhat like our browser address bar ..... just type G and all the sites we frequent would appear. (google etc)

i might be wrong but my 9700 cant perform this little function which is very useful for my work. it tells me that the number im currently dialing is a number ive called b4!

if blackberry aiant got this........ does anyone know where i can find an app which has this???

Press the Green Phone button. Place your cursor in the blank space above the last number you called. Start typing the person you want to call's name, not number, and it'll match.

If you are going to call them more than once, adding them to the address book is the simplest solution. I don't know any app that allows you to start dialing a number and select from a partially matching list.
