So I use my phone all day off site working, depending on 3g for all my communications.

I came home yesterday, connected to my homes WiFi... noticed my phone calls were really echoey and almost 1995 call quality... turned the WiFi off, did a battery pull problem solved... blew it off as a one time deal.

This is NOT using UMA as Bell does NOT support UMA.

Today came home did the same routine... the girlfriend just called and the call quality was total s**t again.

    Anyone else experienced this?

Should I take my phone back? I have had it for 2 weeks tomorrow.

It's most likely the echo canceller at the cell site that covers your home. I'd call your carrier and tell them about it.

is there a reason it only happens with WiFi on?

Someone mentioned this the other day http://forums.crackberry.com/f146/be...9/#post4082466

The 'fix' was supposedly to update to .344... not sure if this worked though?
