I have blackberry 8310 curve. I came back from holiday and i am unable to make calls and send text message although i can use the bb services on the ph i.e. email and internet. When i try to call it gives me a "Call Failed" error and when i try to text it says "Protocol Error". When i try to call on my phone from a different phone it goes straight to voice mail. I have full signal strength and my network name gets displayed on my screen. I have tried taking the battery out, reinstalling the software etc bt nothing worked. When i ws on holiday i ws using my phone with a local network provider with no issues at all. In UK i am with orange bt since i bought the phone off ebay(new) they dont provide me handset support. I hv gathered that it is quite a common problem bt didnt find a definite solution. Please help!!
