Hi all, I'm sure this has been asked before but when I sync with yahoo calendar it changes the time zone and throws all my app off. What an I do to keep it on eastern time zone?
How are you synching with the yahoo calendar? The problem you describe is usually caused by connecting your blackberry to a computer that's set to the wrong time zone combined with selecting the option in Desktop Manager to sync the device time with the computer. I've not heard it specifically associated with yahoo calendar before. Does the problem only happen when you sync with yahoo, or any time you connect your device to your pc?
The solution in the non-yahoo situation is to 1) make sure your device and the computer are both set to the correct time zone and 2) unselect the option to sync the device to the pc time in Desktop Manager. If you set the device time source to "Network," it's not necessary to sync it to the pc to have the correct time.
