Try this go to options/advanced options/host routing. Hit the menu button then register now

Thanks, for the help but still unable to open the browser. Trying to cancel accuweather feed since i cancelled my data plan earlier. any other suggestions

If you don't have a data plan the MediaNet browser is the only
one you will have.

As others have pointed out, you have answered your own question. No BB data plan, no BB browser. MediaNet is your only option assuming you reverted back to MediaNet Pay-Per-Use.
