After using a Passport for almost a year, a Android Passport would not influence me to switch OS. Now a Vienna/Android Classic size might; but not before I try the BB10 Classic.

Codenamed Oslo, I think an Android Passport will happen around summer since the Vienna (or whatever it's named now) is set to be released in holiday 2016.

Am I gonna buy it? Nah. After owning a Passport for a year and then switching to the Silver Edition, I wouldn't be able to look at an Android Passport the same way.

Yup. BlackBerry Central. They're as credible as CB. That's why I don't understand why people are saying BlackBerry is dead when it's quite the opposite. I recommend everyone check out the BlackBerry Central.

I thought Dallas was the Silver Edition and Oslo was the Android Passport. Either way, according to the rumors from BlackBerry Central (who have insider sources like CB) states that this year we will be getting two BlackBerry devices, both android. Vienna has its codename changed to something else and there is an unknown device in work that will be releasing before the 'Vienna' which is scheduled for holiday 2016.

Oslo was renamed to Dallas and the final product was the SE.

Yes, an Android Passport. Another phone with a PKB. That's exactly what BlackBerry needs right now.

Can't see it being a mid range device though, which is what Chen said the next PKB device would be. Maybe if that sells well it could come next year some time?

Well since blackberry 10 has an extremely limited app selection. Even business apps such as Concur are limited. Also we use airwatch at my business and you can't even set up email with bb10 through airwatch in our set up. Other than that, I love love bb10 over android. It's much more fluid, intuitive and less add BS. If bb10 came to market several years ahead, it would have the eco system as android does. Missed the boat and payed for it though. With that, bring me passport android!

Too be honest... I don't know why they didn't do a Passport, other than Android isn't made for a 1x1 screen.

At this point, if it didn't happen, it's not gong to happen. Chen has talked about other devices that might come about IF hardware can be made profitable. I think IF they stay in hardware, it will be mid grade devices designed to meet the needs of enterprise.

My only issue with that is most of enterprise I've seen seems to buy flagships... so who knows.

I think a android version of the passport would be a hit. As long as it's priced right it could definitely be a winner

As just mention by Dunt Dunt Dunt above, Android does not support the 1:1 screen ratio used by the Passport. Android devices must have at least a 4:3 screen ratio.

We really don't know.... sales were falling when the Passport was launched, and they kept on falling when the Classic was launched. Afraid that most sales back then were still Z10 being cleared out. But at this point it's pretty much down to the LEAP, CLASSIC and PASSPORT.

But if I had to guess... I'd say the Classic and LEAP are still being bought by enterprise for deployment. I've not heard of a 2K or 5K deployment of Passports... like we have heard of for both the LEAP and the Classic.

I really don't think the square aspect ratio would be popular sell among the android crowd.. BB needs a hit if they're going to stay in the handset game, and while I think an android passport would be a bold move, I don't think it would be a successful one

Not sure I want a Passport android unless it was able to be a dual boot system. How nice would that be to have both bb 10 and android. On the contrary this is not likely to happen. Rather possibly a priv-like (passport) that has improvements upon the current bb passport. I love the features of bb10 but I do understand that many people want their apps to work rather that always conducting work-arounds
