What do you mean the bold's software? 4.6? The bold is a different model so the OS won't work on the curve, same as trying to put pearl OS on the curve.

Answer is no for 2 reasons. OS 4.6 is designed for the Bold
and not the Curve and all OS's are device specific.

As to finding info here, start with the Search function. If after

Yes, it can be on the Curve. If your Curve is a Bold in disguise.

Only if you upgrade the OS to 4.5

I think the 4.6 Browser is still much better than the 4.5 browser, though the 4.5 browser is slightly nicer than the 4.3 browser and much nicer than the 4.2 browser. As a CDMA guy, I didn't see much difference between 4.3 and 4.5, to tell you the truth. I just noticed the HTML email, Docs to go, and much better memory allocation.
