I thought I saw a thread that stated "when the BOLD is officially released, the pre-released BOLDS would be worthless." Anybody else remember reading this?
Even though i would love the bold right now, i'm not willing to pay over $600 for something once released i can get for around $200 or lower. I'll just be patient and wait.
I'm not going to spend that much for it just to find out that the carriers or RIM have the ability to render the device worthless - whether it's true or not. I want the BOLD like everyone else, but, I can wait.

I agree 100%. Why pay $1300+(the Bold I seen on ebay) for a phone thats likely to not work after the official release not to mention be under $500 or around to buy outright. Don't make any sense to me. I'm just sayin'.
I think I'll wait another month. Two if I gotta.

Supply and demand is at an all time high for the latest and the greatest device. Just imagine spending that much and the SOB doesn't work when you could have waited a few extra months.

RIM has the ability to shutdown the PINs, which I think they've been doing with some of the Bolds that are out in the wild right now. Whether or not they'll be re-activated after the official launch, who knows.
he could have his buddies ghost bidding for him to deliberatly artificially inflate the price. besides for all we know it may not be able to reat tmo USA's 3g frequncy. God things come to those who wait.
Some idoits have the bidding up to 1725. Thats just stupid.
I am pretty much an "I want it now kinda guy", but I can't imagine paying that much for a phone when you could most likely buy 3 outright in 30 days or less. Man, that is dumb.
