so i tried bluetoothing my contacts from my Sony W810i to my new Curve, but it doesnt work.

A friend of mine told me that Blackberrys can only bluetooth with other Blackberrys? is this true

Not it's not true. Please don't use caps and excessive punctuation marks. That sort of thing is annoying. BlackBerry's have a neat little security feature when it comes to BT. You have to go to Media, and select which folder you want to receive in. However, I don't believe it is possible to BT transfer contacts to a BB.

for instance... my friend's Curve can't send/receive pictures or ringtones when paired with a NON-blackberry device.

can somebody please show me how to do this??? my sony has 500+ contacts and my SIM only holds 250.

BT is BlueTooth...see the connection there?

If you want to transfer contacts you're going toneed to use the desktop manager... BT transfer for contacts isn't really possible because they don't use the same format.
