I have a Pioneer AVIC with bluetooth that I have used for years with my Pearl. Whenever I started the car, it would pair automatically with the phone. Nothing to do.

Now, with my Bold, the phone is always asking me to enter the passcode for the device. I have it set to "trusted-yes" and "connect on power up-yes" but there must be some other setting that is requiring that always enter the passcode.

Anyone have a work around for this?

Figured it out. I needed to register the phone with the device in the car before it would accept it automatically.
