I just got the storm. It's my first Blackberry. I paired my headset with no problem and it connects as expected. When I make a call I hear beeps, but then the call goes through the phone. I have to press menu and then "Activate Headset" to transfer to the bluetooth device. Is this the way it's supposed to work on the Blackberry? Is there some setting that needs to be changed so the calls automatically transfer to the headset? Kind of defeats the purpose of hands-free operation.

Under bluetooth options, you will see your headset listed. Select it, and then go to the options, and make sure that under the "trusted" area, it says yes, don't ask, or something to that effect. It is probably waiting for you to say that it is ok to connect to the headset every time it detects it. You have to tell it to just trust it, and then it should work from then on.

Thanks. It is set that way. Maybe it's the headset, but it works fine with other phones.
