May seem like a silly question, but it is my first time using bluetooth and when pairing it is asking for a passkey. What is it and where do I set it up or find it out ???
Thanks in advance.

Most bluetooths have a booklet with the passkey in it. But all the passkeys I've come across seem the same. The last four bluetooths I used the passkey was 0000 or 000000. Try all zeros and see what happens. But check the owners manuel first for the passkey

Try 0000 when it prompts you for the key. It was the same on both of my units when they were new. If it is second hand the first user could have changed it.
that worked ... thanks
No prob piper. That's what we are all here for ;)

I tried to pair old Motorolla phone with mine 0000 did not work. Tried 1234 and it worked fine. Confirmed again with LG phone 1234 worked.
Mine was 1234 also.

just got it to work. oooo worked for 8350i and netbook
Some brands use 9999 as well so when you are in a position where you are guessing that is always a good one to try.
