I'm trying to pair my Curve 8330 with a pc running vista and it gives me this message: "Windows was unable to install your Bluetooth Peripheral Device. Windows could not find driver software for your device."
Any clues as to where I would be able to find these drivers?
No, the bluetooth came with the computer. And yes I have checked the Dell website. The message comes when the computer is trying to install drivers for the phone.
Did your Dell also come with a Windows disk or just the Master restore disk? And have you tried going into device manager , what do you see there is there a item that has a yellow mark through it , meaning that it is not installed properly and if so right clicking on this devise and choosing update driver. I also think that the driver is located some where on one of you Dell disk.Another thing you might try is your carrier's site for the blutooth driver. I don't lnow why this is true but Sprint on there download site has bluetooth driver for the pc.
you can use IVT blue soleil bluetooth software for pc's. it's used for pairing devices and file transfers. The software also acts as a driver for the bluetooth adapter that you connect to your computer.
