Hi

I have been trying to transfer photos and ringtones from a Samsung, HTC HD2, Nokia and Sony Ericsson to my Blackberry Curve 8520.

When they try to send it to me they get either bluetooth failed, transfer failed, services not supported etc....

When I check the device settings there is no file transfer in listed services, but I do have this service turned on with my Blackberry.

They can transfer with each other just not to me.

Any suggestions?

Enable Bluetooth on both devices.

Sending from the 8500
On the BlackBerry, go Media > Menu > Send using bluetooth. On the receiving device, do as it asks when it comes to getting files.

Receiving from the 8500
Go Media > Menu > Receive using bluetooth. Device will wait for connection. On the sending device, star the transfter.

On both cases, Bluetooth options should allow the 8500 to be discoverable and to trust the other device.
