I just got a BB Bold and I have a BMW 335. Everything works great except my address book does not transfer completely via bluetooth when I am in the car. Many contacts are missing.

I have tried to unpair all phones and pair again. I wiped the BOLD and started over. I upgraded to .185 OS.

Also when I go to bluetooth settings and request "transfer contacts", it fails and states there is an error and to check the owners manual of my bluetooth device.

Has anyone encountered such problems with the address book?

i have a 08' Nissan Pathfinder LE and my contacts transferred fine the first time. If i were you i would try deleting the profile from the car's dash computer and also from the phone's and do a fresh repairing.

mine wont transfer to my 08 lexus gs350, it disconnects the bluetooth connection when i start the transfer.

I have tried deleting the device on the car and deleting in the phone, and re-pairing. Same result.

My friend has the same Rogers unlocked BB Bold. We both are on TMOBILE USA. His works fine in his car (BMW 530). Today we paired mine to his car with the same problem. We are on different BES mail servers. Could there be some setting in the BES that could effect this?

I am going to pair his phone in my car to see if all his contacts transfer properly.

same problemo here. I have an '07 subaru, clarion max685bt head unit, and blackberry curve (8310). I can make and receive calls through the head unit, however i cant transfer my address book most of the time. when i try to push the address book, it says either:
A) transfer failed, or
B) connection terminated

Any body know what the problem is? whether its the phone, head unit, or perhaps an incompatibility?

I just got a '09 Acura TL and am having the same issue when I try to transfer my contacts. It disconnects the bluetooth connection when i start the transfer. Any suggestions?

HI I had the same problem, I got it going by turning encryption off.

I too have a BMW 335, it took me a while, but finally was able to transfer my contacts, first I would upgrade your OS on the BB to ATT newest, then re boot the BB, it should work.
However sometimes not all my contacts come over, I have 1100 contacts, used to have 1200, and when I paired it down to 1100, most of my problems went away.
