Blue tooth Help

Two quick question
1) i'm sending ringtones through my blackberry to my friends sony ericson, he gets the files ok but he can't set them up as ringtones. It shouldn't be a copyright issue since i didn't buy the ringtoens i downloaded them

2) same friend were are connected and i am able to send him files but everytime he tires to send me something on my blackberry it always says connection failed

I have the same problem receiving files over blue tooth!

I kinda thought that I would figure it out as I've only had my bb for about a week but its been driving me mad...
