I hereby present my concept design : 'Z40'.

It is based on the Z10 and the Z30.

    Possible specs could be :

    - Snapdragon 600 / 800 processor
    - 3 / 4 GB RAM
    - 32 GB internal memory
    - 1080p OLED screen
    - 3000 mAh battery

    What do you guys think?

As for dimensions, think more in the line of the Z10, but a little bit wider. The Z30 is a bit too large in my opinion, where i shouldn't have to be.

If it is smaller than Z30 shouldn't it be called a Z20?

Lol, but it should be an improvement over the Z30, thus Z40. Or, it's the Z10 and the Z30 combined, which should add up to 40 as well.

    Z10 + Z30 = ZZ40 lol.

I like it. Still waiting on at&t for the Z30, but, just depends on what's after that for at&t. This or a Slider would be cool for me. However, if Android released a Slider, I would get that....and this one.

I too wanted to buy an Android slider phone, but they never released one that was worth it imo. The Z30 was never an option because of the price and the size ( i think it's too big for a 5 inch phone ).

More importantly, i don't like Android at all. Once you've thoroughly used BB10, going back to using Android or iOS seems like taking a few steps back to me.

BB10 slider with a large screen would be sweet, but chances are slim they'd release a 4 inch+ slider phone, but one can always hope :- )

Nice concept! Could do without the BlackBerry Logo at the top though IMHO

I here you and would have to see it first. I haven't had any real issues with any of the platforms and I've used all three. But, with my Z10 and a Q10- whatever BlackBerry produces next needs to be moving past the Z30(not just in numbers) or I'll wait it out. I'm talking about at all levels.

The logo would look much better on the bottom of the device.

I don't like the blackberry logo on top, maybe at the bottom would be much better. The phone looks and feels like an android phone which I don't like. I mean we can point an iphone or a windows phone right from the design language, same goes for android phones (except Sony, all have the same design language). Keyboardless blackberries have no design language of their own, I love the Z10 and the Z30 design wise, but they have no design language of their own, which is a pitty.

And that's exactly why i 'changed' the old logo. It's a new era for BB, time for a 'fresher' logo.
