In a small way I am celebrating. At least for once you aren't making fun of people for having English as a second or third language.

OK - Contributing to the actual topic...

Is that US or Canada? I'm glad to see inventory moving either way - but its interesting to take note of the demographic.

Agreed.... I hope it is due to great sales and not lack of beginning inventory.

I don't know why I get the sneaking feeling that BlackBerry didn't manufacture many Z30s, the reason I say so it's because the Z30 is a fantastic device but there was almost Zero Marketing for it, I know marketing has been horrendous but with the Z30 even more so. Perhaps they were bring cautious after the Z10 write down.

Of course they were cautious with the Z30. They know that mass producing Z10s and being over confident was a stupid mistake

I would hope their intention wasn't to make sure they don't create too much demand due to limited production.

I would rather they market well and sell out. Scarcity could provide additional demand for the product which is a more envious position than lack of awareness in the market.

Enough with the fake "Sold Out" headlines, I mean really, only 1.1 million BB10 devices sold globally.

This is definitely a scenario that shouldn't be discounted! It could possibly be that when Chen first came on board the lack of sales of the 10 made him nervous about the 30. Limiting stock might have been his first move.

    What are you daft???

Scarcity is terrible for mobile phones!!!!
People will just buy an iPhone or galaxy note instead.
As for being daft that is not for me to say. I can ask around to find out and get back to you if you like?

Would people not buy another phone if they did not know the Z30 exists or they did not produce enough? I think the result would be the same.

Maybe you're right, scarcity is horrible for mobile phones that is probably why no one ever lines up (for days) to get one of the limited iPhones on release day.
