I hate to do this but considering all the initial numbers we got for the Z and the Q, I'm not falling for it again.
Just look at the link

Sold out at Selfridges again?
Selling like hotcakes...again?

Wow.
So you get:
63% off a brand new z30
1 FREE z10
1 set of urban earsphones
2 tickets to an Alecia keys concert
1 free Alicia keys album
popcorn
ice cream
Free carnival
And they still did not manage to sell out or provide any sales metric.
"The promotions, where the first 200 customers can purchase the Blackberry Z30 at only RM738 (from the RRP of RM1998) when they sign up to any Celcom First Voice + Data mPro bundle plans, which start from RM128/month on a 24-month contract and will get freebies include a free Blackberry Z10 LTE worth RM1899, an Urbanears Headset worth RM340, a pair of Alicia Keys concert tickets worth RM590, and a downloadable Alicia Keys Girl on Fire album a total that worth more than RM2700!!!"
...and in future news...someone just placed a mysterious order for 1 million of these bad boys
I hate eggs, especially on my face.
Outselling Samsung Galaxy S4 and the iPhone again?
The initial demand has never been the issue for BlackBerry. It's the following months where the demand goes to near zero that has hurt them.

BlackBerry reporting profit....again?
God this negativity is contagious! :D
"If you can't soar with the eagles, then don't fly with the flock!"
still many days to see how Z30 performs
even people had stated that z and q were doing well but things were bad and getting worst
I love this thread lol

Haha...as long as T Heins is CEO I am not willing to accept any positive news.

So BlackBerry put up a booth... at the circus?
"Celcom not only had a great deal for the Z30 they put on a show 'with performances from street magicians, jumping stilts performers, popcorn, ice cream and candy cane stores, a good place for an afternoon of family fun.'"

Hmm...it feels like I've heard this somewhere before...

Yes. Blackberry = circus.
BSo the first 200 people got all that free stuff with it?
So in other words, Blackberry sold 200 Z30's and gave away 200 Z10's with them. Wow, what a success. Yawn.
This sounds more like a used car dealership than a respectable company.
Isn't it sad how it is exactly the other way around with Apple? Many people would give you all that stuff just to be among the first 200 to get an iPhone XXs...
Pricing has been Blackberry's main problem. Blackberry needs to price its product like Nokia, not like Apple. If they change their mindset, they can succeed. Blackberry has great products. It needs to give incentive to either customers or developers to come on board and I believe, it's easier to get customers at this point with competitive pricing. Lumia 520 sold like hotcakes in emerging markets. If Blackberry can sell one low end BB10 device dirt cheap (around $200 or less) with BES (that means cheap data) then BB10 can gain market share very fast in emerging markets. Anyone who buys Blackberry will exactly do that, too bad Blackberry management is too incompetent to make this work.
I'll rather have a date with them Malaysian womens(:

Actually it has. Even if you were to take total quarterly sales and apply it all to initial demand, it would still be sad.
