If you're using your device as a media consumption 1st, the Z is probably for you. I have a Q10, I write quite a few message everyday, the physical keyboard is key for me.
Its mostly typing all the time l, hardly ever use it for media.

You pretty much answered your own question. It really come down to preference in end.

It's basically a toss between bigger screen and physical keyboard.
As suggested above, it boils down to personal preference.
Good luck mate ;)

Not sure how long you have had your Z10 for. Just give yourself time to get used to the keyboard on the Q10. I tried to make the switch but ended up sticking with my Z10. I actually missed the touch screen keyboard and the LCD screen on my Z10. I felt that my thumbs could stretch out more on the Z10 vs the Q10's. Can't go wrong with either one tho. Good luck.

I have both,
I would say the z10 is pretty nice, the big screen and virtual keyboard are ideal. But I love the q10, owning both is great!

I've got both as well. Pretty much the same sentiment here too. Just wanted to note that BlackBerry have also been trying to implement more shortcuts on the Z10 too. In the browser, if you pull up the Z10 keyboard, I've yet to find a keyboard shortcut that doesn't work here. R for reader mode, T for top, B for bottom, etc. So it's really interesting to see how they've approached this. Of course for all I need the same code is inherently present and because the virtual keyboard triggers a key press, it may just be reacting to that. Although this does not work in the BlackBerry Hub.
Speaking of Hub, 10.2.1 also brings the next and previous overlays on to the bottom right hand corner in an email so you can have that N and P keyboard shortcut from the Q10 on the screen. I think it's really neat to see nice additions like this being made.
Well thank u for the answers, I ended up swapping my z10 for a q10 and it's safe to say.. I miss my z10 :(!

Update?

You can get a Z10 for a good price on EBay now. Bought my daughter one for $230 complete with extra accessories, in mint condition. Installed 1925 and Snap, good to go. She moved from a physical keyboard Android phone and loves the virtual keyboard on the Z10. I feel like the Z10 doesn't get the proper recognition at times, especially with the release of the Z30. Yes the Z30 is faster, with longer battery life and extra goodies, but the Z10 has an amazing LCD display, great size and form factor for one hand usage and can be its own niche for an affordable alternative in the $200 range.

Hmm I was contemplating about this about a month back. Sometimes I wish that I had the z10 so that I could watch youtube videos with ease (because of the larger screen).
However, I dont do that anymore and as I am typing out this message I really appreciate having a keyboard and the tactile feel that it gives.
It really all comes down to if you text a lot or use your phone to communicate frequently. The keyboard on the z10 is really nice, but it still doesnt give you buttons to press (unfortunately).
