If you didn't want to you would have said nothing, but you wanted to and wanted to seem like you took the high road so you did it back handedly. I don't care either way, just don't think that you are fooling anyone.

"Y" and "U" is not intelligent speak, even if English is a 2nd or 3rd language. Thus my comment.

Well, you are talking about a phone that came out two years ago at the deeper end of their fall from grace. They've changed hands a couple of times since then. From reports, they did better with the Q10.
On top of that you are talking about a USED battery. Battery don't last forever. a 2 yrs old battery probably has ~50-60% of original capacity.

Did take some suggestions and put the phone in battery saving mode all the time, have gotten a few hours more(yay). Hopefully, I should be able to arrange the extended battery. The grammar in the title was deliberate.

Everyone does realize that the OP's title is intentionally spelled that way as it's a popular Internet meme. It's clear he did that as a joke to bring some levity to the situation.

No. Not all of us keep up on the meme du jour. I've got better things to do online.

The meme is one of the worst things to come to the Internet since the flashing text of the early days of HTML.

It's kinda unbelievable that people can't figure that themselves.

I agree.... but it's hard not to notice meme's in passing on FB and twitter.

I appreciate you trying to make me look like I have nothing good to do with my time when I was just trying to point everyone in the right direction. I run my business from my BlackBerry, that's the reason I am on this site, so I rarely take time to "do nothing." Sorry you apparently had a bad day, need to talk about it

You took my statement to be an attack on you when it wasn't meant to be that. My ire was directed at the meme trend. Like most trends I dislike, my dislike doesn't affect the person who does like them: there's certainly enough cringeworthy things that I enjoy to not throw rocks towards individuals.

Consider it a case of my cranky old guy coming out and shooing the kids off his lawn.

To OP, do you have a 2 year old battery in that 2 year old phone? That is about the end of life for that battery.

Upgrade to the latest version of OS7.1 and use a battery charging bundle (with spare battery constantly on charge). Problem solved, end of discussion.

I could make fun of you for making fun of someone who it is obvious that English is not their native language but then that would be cruelty
    1) you can make fun of anyone for anything
    2) it's not cruel
    3)go ahead
    4) it's difficult to take it serious when some one uses y u, when calling another unintelligent.

Software-Build date is 7.1 bundle 2105(.746). Hardware ETA- 1472/2011/WRLO. I stand corrected. The phone was built in 2011, however, my friend bought it in july 2013. Looks like sales have dropped drastically for bb in India. Got the latest software build last week and installed that. Planning to get an Anker mini 3000mah battery pack as I couldn't find an external battery charger for this model(available in the UK and US only.) The Anker is half the price of the Mugen 1500mah battery.
Last edited by yukon4; 01-14-14 at 05:38 PM. Reason: updated the hardware build date
