I had to use android phone for a day, bc my BlackBerry was at the service, and what I noticed, BlackBerry World App store look like store with the sign ' going out of business' compare to google play. You can't even find one decent usefull app. Amazon app store isn't better either. It looks like developers working only on apps for IOS and Google Play, Sad

Blackberry world has been that way for a couple of years, 2 million flashlight, compass or antenna booster apps, not much else.
It's part of the reason I switched to Priv, even though Android is clunky and disjointed, it has the apps I need to get things done.

Don't think you are on the right forum here, this is ask questions.

    Well, yes, sad.

However, having just recently moved from a Classic to a PRIV I can say that the PRIV and its implementation of Android is very pleasing.
Although I don't have any exposure to other 'droid phones, I do have a fair bit of experience with iOS (iPad owner, wife and kids have iOS phones) and I can say that the PRIV/Android is FAR better for my tastes than iOS. I just despise the on-screen keyboards.

So, I like the path that BB is taking.

Been that way for a while, chief.

For most developers, it's iOS first, Android a close second, and everybody else gets bits. BBRY just hasn't been able to attract the number of developers needed to allow BB10 compete.

It more resembles the Symbian app store before they closed it than the BB World of early 2014.

Well they are killing BB10 so what do you expect? BTW you may want to checkout loading Android apps. It may be possible by using Cobalt, however be warned some have found these apps to be buggy on BB10.

I don't have snap or Google play. Don't need to load up apps that belong on a tablet. No problem. Hahahhahaa. Works for me!
My huilu app wants Google services but works without it LOL. Wouldn't miss it but works flawless.
Sent from one of my SE Passports using BB10 superior software.

Realize Google Play also is chalk full of tons of useless apps as well. (I am not disputing wanting or needing "any" app and GPS or iOS being superior-they are) I have found some good useful apps on Amazon (Our Groceries, CBS Sports, Fitbit, Flixster) for my BlackBerry 10 devices. Fitbit for example works well with my new Charge 2. On my newer Fire tablet most of all the top apps are available with the Amazon app store and it's beyond easy to download a single app or even GPS if needed. I would not underestimate developers working with Amazon for Alexa- that has been a huge win for them and an area they seem to be winning over Google and Apple.
