    Hey, I just contacted technical support centre. They told me that my software was higher than the carrier's updated software. Apparently that's the reason why the app world isn't functioning right. Could anybody else verify if that's true?

    It is foolish. BlackBerry World also does not work via its website on PC.

    I had the same problem, but I closed the app and then a few minutes later went back into the store and the app downloaded, I had the problem on my Classic but the store had no problem on my Bold 9900

    Um, you have choices. There is nothing to "beware" of. There was quite a few instances where the play store's servers just weren't functioning and updated would be stuck at "download pending". So would you say "beware" to that also?
