I rarely use BBM, as most of my friends/family/etc don't use BBs.
I still like the concept of BBM...wish I could use it more. oh well

The fact is that BBM do not use really much ressources. I just take a look into application management menu to see that it use about 1.7Mo in average with peek around 2.2Mo on 500Mo of memory available. And it use aprox 0% of the cpu when waiting for a message. You can also see that OS6 and home screen eat almost the half of the available ressources.
You can delete it if you want but it will not affect your performance.
Or maybe I'm wrong.
