I took my Q10 and turned it upside down and put the keyboard on the bottom of my wife's Z30. It's perfect.

What's your name going to be for this design? Utopia?

I am hoping the actual Visa is no bigger than 4.7" screen, full touch. A little bigger than the Z10. Should make a great upgrade from the Z10 to a Visa. I know many Z10 owners looking for a upgrade, but needs to be a full touch well under 5" screen size. The 4.7" seems to hit the sweet spot.

I agree. 4.7" is the max it can be. I played with the samsung alpha at the store the other day and it just felt right in the hand. Not too big. Not too small

I'd be curious to see what someone like Ziro1 could make of both Blackberry retractable keyboard concepts

As i noticed elsewhere that kind of hardware with its "concertina" keyboard would allow to keep a very pocket friendly size, you could easily fit a 4"-4.2" inch screen on the Q10 form factor.

And in another patent we saw a different keyboard (no more a shrinking one like the "concertina") something like that, sorry for Ziro1's original design but i can only do that sort of thing sorry for my lack of skills
