We all know that Blackberry does still have a good market in India but apparently Google wants to end that and targeting low end smartphones and i am sorry to say that but they are going to win for sure unless Blackberry does something about Android one.
here is what i am talking about Google to spend millions to promote Android One in India

They already put a shot over the bow with Moto E. which is going gangbusters. Just a continuation of that strategy. The problem with low spec phones has been OS upgrades. Moto E and others that follow won't have that issue because of Android One. Google has already done alot of the groundwork with Kitkat which was made with lower spec phones in mind and now Project Volta with Android L which will make batteries last longer with Android a problem low spec phones with low battery capacity suffer.

Good old free enterprize... somehow doubt that it is directed specifically at BB specifically, just shows when you have a marketing budget... cheap product on a price sensiitve market you will succeed... not somethihg BB seems to be willing to do....

Why is other company promoting it's own product is consider an attack at BlackBerry. It's free enterprise market. Any companies are entitled to sell and compete.

Because that enticing thread title brought us here. I agree - there's no attack here.

I agree with you. I didn't want to do it, but caught in a downpour and needless to say my Blackberry is fini. Didn't want to drop $200 on a new one. So I got a Moto. It's actually not that bad for $80. I would definitely consider going back to Blackberry if they would come out with a $100 device, $399 for that Bold is insane!

Lol it's not like BlackBerry can't release competing products. Plus, a lot of people outside the US have a soft spot for BlackBerry. As long as BlackBerry treats then right then they'll choose BlackBerry over the competition.

Just look at the success of the Z3.

    It's not rocket science people.
