I just love this App...It automatically picks the bookings I made on other websites like Priceline.com via my email.
And then monitors the flight and weather in the Travel App and updates the schedule.
    It's a pretty solid App.

The monitoring always works for me. The issue that I have is that the travel confirmation via email has to be in certain formats for the automatic addition of the trip details to the app. I would hazard a guess that most business travel agencies utilize the correct format.

I met an American on a recent European inter city flight brandishing an older blackberry. He was bemoaning the fact that his company was possibly going to replace his phone with an IPhone and he would lose BlackBerry Travel. Apparently, most of his colleagues travel frequently and rely heavily on the App. Another example of fashion over function. Hopefully, his company doesn't make aircraft.

Me neither. I hope BlackBerry can tell us if there is any specific criteria or standard by which an eticket can be picked up.

Same as it works on the older BBOS.

Where I really found it useful is (my family all has BlackBerry s), I would share my trips or they'd share theirs. Then we all, as a group would get status updates. So we all know when flights land or if there are delays.

Worked fantastic on OS 7. I need to install it on BlackBerry 10 but have yet to travel since getting my z10.

I love BlackBerry travel. Trip scanning works fine for me and BlackBerry travel usually picks up any itinerary changes Air Canada makes to my flights as soon as they are made.

Indeed! BlackBerry Travel is one fine app. Recently, one of my friends who is a staunch Google supporter was bragging about Google coming up with a travel app that updated his flight information. I told him that BlackBerry has been doing that for years! One of my favorite features of this app is, ironically, how it updates my Google calendar with current flight times, and all from the confirmation email from my flight carrier (or hotel!) Love, love LOVE this app!

I called hotels.ca, booked a hotel and BlackBerry travel picked up the confirmation email and automatically added it for me... works with flights and everything to and i really like the reminder feature if you book a flight but don't have a hotel or rental car yet.

Great app, glad they brought it over

This is an excellent app for sure. It is unfortunate that you can't book flights thru the app. The website version allows you to. Flight booking would put this app over the top!

It's a pretty sick app. I love how it has weather, currency conversion, car rentals, business search, view world clocks, and book hotel rooms all in one.

You can use all those things even if you don't have any trips planned and aren't going anywhere. Lol

have been on two trips since i got my Z10 BB travel works perfectly. It always picks up the emails and automatically adds them to the itinerary. It even picked up my booking from Execcar fro transportation to and from the airport to DC. I love the fact that all of your info and confirmations are in one place. I was recently on a Southwest flight that was delayed due to bad weather and BB travel had the info before the folks at the gate. LOVE IT

Why not? It's an awesome app. I think opening BBM to ios and Android was a smart move as BBM is a linchpin with many apps integrating with it these days. BB travel is an asset on any device and demonstrates Blackberry's commitment to being useful.

One feature of BlackBerry Travel that I love is how it monitors hotels and notifies you if there's a better deal on a similar room to the one you've booked. That feature alone makes it worth the price of the device.

I took BlackBerry Travel for granted on my 9900, now on Android, I tried the WorldMate app (same company), however it costs money ($10/year) for the updated flight travel and status.

Try Tripcase. It's a lot like blackberry travel and it's free.
