BGR has a legit pic up...touch screen, and exclusive to VZW...
I'm sure it wont be exclusive to Verizon for long. They'll find a way to screw it up.
As usual. LOL
i agree, but how do you think a touchscreen is going to go over with loyal BB users?? I mean...BB means keyboard!!
lol looks worse than the photoshopped bold
It's not the most beautiful thing in the world.. I'm just not sure about how the touchscreen is going to work out

Im sure RIM will continue to have keyboard devices in addition to touchscreen only. There's a market for both.
I don't like touch screens. Something happens to the screen.. BUHBYE PHONE!!
Imma keep my qwerty keyboard. I just want a lil more "stabilized" ball...
RIM needed to make a touchscreen phone to keep up with all the new touchscreens on the market. I personally do not like touchscreens. The only touchscreen I have is my iPod Touch but other then that, QWERTY for life.

Yes because if something happens to your current blackberry's screen the phone will continue to function properly "just because it has a physical keyboard".
I thought BB meant a somewhat stable OS and Push Email? After all, the Treo keyboard is not that much unlike the keyboard of a BB Curve.
I'm a qwerty user for life, will not be jumping through hoops for this thing. But to each his/her own, there are probably a lot of VZ users who are going to be happy about this. I do agree it was a necessity in order for RIM to keep up with the marketplace trends that are going on.
i hope at&t gets it :]
does anybody know the size the device will be?
My decision will be based on how good the browser is. If it REALLY good, I may be willing to give up my keyboard.

It's a Blackberry! We all know what that means. It might not be for some, but there's no doubt alot of ppl will love it! I personally don't really care for the touch-screen, but others do and good for them. It's just nice to see RIM providing for the consumer on a number of different levels!! Just look at whats offered now, and what's coming with the Bold, Kickstart, and now the Thunder. It's a smart move on RIM's part and we should applaud them for it wether we like the phone or not!!
I don't understand why this is generating all the hate for that phone. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Stick with your current BB or one of the other new ones coming out. If RIM wants to target the iPhone crowd then more power to them.
I dont see why people so caught up on touchscreens. I guess being original is dead along with Chivalry. Guess everybody wants to catch up with Iphones
The main photo looks like a photoshopped Tmobile Wing.
I would say its like Porsche enthusiasts then they heard about the Porsche Cayenne they were outraged, some have come to accept it and some haven't. So it goes for all devices, platforms etc. In the end we should just learn to accept them, use the phone, car, whatever if it meets our needs and if it doesn't then move on and not give it a second thought, as if it didn't exist. Palm OS to WindowsMobile to BlackBerry to Staying where I am.
