    Hi,

Could anyone suggest if i should go for the blackberry 9320 , 9360, 9790 or 9900? I know the 9900 is the best but I want something thats a little cheaper and yet a step-up from my curve 8900!

Or should I wait for BB10? Btw i prefer a physical keypad, and seems there will be one which has it in BB10 too!

Let me know what you'll think asap! If i buy any of the OS7 phones, it will be in a week, so let me know asap! Thanks!

Why would you even consider buying an OS7 phone?

Okay, so I've made up my mind: I'm not going to change my earlier decision which I had made a long time back, I'm going to wait for BB10!!!

I need to upgrade from my 8900 because it doesn't support 3g, and I'm planning to use Mobilicity ,so the 8900 wouldn't work.
The only reason I was going to go in for BBOS 7 device was that I wanted the physical keypad,as initially I thought RIM were ONLY going to release a BB10 FULL touch screen device, but now I've heard they're going to release one with the physical keyboard too!

    Thanks a lot anyways!

Bb10 is only worth waiting for if your interested in rim's 'massive' app store that might not even kick off.

9790 is perfect, virtually no difference from the 9900 except smaller and longer battery, cheaper too. Plus BB10 will probably be expensive if only 2 are being released

If you don't feel like waiting for BB10, go with the 9780/90 if you want cheaper. I'm not in any rush to get a BB10 phone that's why I just recently got a 9930! Who knows when BB10 will debut and how good it will be.. It's completely new and has a lot of growing and developing to do so it might have a lot of bugs when it first comes out. So might as well get something you know is reliable now and just wait till BB10 is developed. Just my opinion. I LOVE my 9930!

Hmmm...lol that confuses me all over again! The main thing is that I'm not in a rush to buy a new Blackberry, so maybe if BB10 fails i can still get the 9900/9790 later But that said, Blackberry's virtually out if BB10 does fail, so I may not end up getting one, though I absolutely LOVE the physical keypad!

If you want a new bb now get a 9790.. If you want to wait for the BB10 qwerty, wait for it. It will be leaps and bounds more powerful than the current line of phones. Im holding on to my 9800 until BB10, i was very close to getting a 9900 but i changed my mind while at the store.

Do the 9790/9930 freeze/hang a lot? Can you truly multi-task on them? Because I googled it and I found tons of problems! What are your experiences with these phones?

Just be patient and wait for the phone that you think is best for you. I personally have no desire for a BB10 phone right now. I'm satisfied with my 9930. The keyboard and everything else is awesome!! It all depends what you are looking for in a phone..

Well I'm coming from a 9650 and that thing lagged like no other. So I tested my 9930. I tried to open as many apps as I could, and see how it performed with all that open and it handles it pretty well. Maybe a minor lag here and there, but overall it runs very smoothly, especially with the recent software update. Im not so sure about the 9790 because I haven't played around with that phone very much..

Buy a phone now if you really need it (the savings from switching to Mobilicity may add up over a few months), or wait for BB10 and see if it's to your liking. Worst cast scenario, if BB10 doesn't interest you, the BB7 phones should be cheaper by then.

Exactly what I'm going to do! I don't really need it urgently! Taking the Mobilicity plan with some crappy phone, buying BB10 if it appeals to me when its released! BB7's going to be there too anyways so I could get it then, like you said! Thanks for your suggestion!

go into a store and buy the phone you like... the reason why they have more than one style of phone is because people like differant things. i have the 9900 i love it. but if you have smaller hands you might hate it because its a wide set phone.

Personally, I say save up for the 9900. It's really the only choice.

The only reason I say that is because it's the best one to keep you company, even AFTER BB10 is released.

the thing that i find interesting about blackberry users is the fact that everyone doesnt need the latest and greatest blackberry on the market. people are still using bold 9000's and loving life. if you went to a samsung or apple forum everyone would have the best of the best

It's simple. A lot of people that buy BlackBerrys don't buy them for the screens or hardware specs. They buy it because of the hardware keyboard (in most cases), and because they are overall very reliable in terms of battery life and call quality/reception. Upgrading the phone will have little impact on core BlackBerry features. In fact, one of the only reasons why I like to upgrade is because of the browser improvements (going from OS5 to OS7 is a world of difference).

i agree with you, and thats why i got rid of my iphone 4s. i was interested to see what iphone was all about so i sold my curve and got the 4S. after about 2 days i realized its packed with useless apps and a screen that you are to scared to scratch. i bit the bullet and purchased the 9900 and i love this phone. ya it dont have the apps and flashy stuff my 4s has, but i prefer the build and concept behind the blackberry. my iphone is now an ipod haha
