[CrackBerry Question]

Hey
well, i was thinking of getting a blackberry, I needed a phone which I can use for navigation, gmail, and IM..not more than that (maybe FM radio)

I had android phones and than I had to give it up cause it got to much of my attention and I wanted to focus on real life instead of the phone..

Now I have nokia 225 which is nice, but I would still like option such as youtube, waze and gmail

I need a simple phone that would still the options I mentioned above
I'm thinking of Q5 or Q10 (prefer low budget as possible)

What do you guys think?

Both will make you happy. Q5 is approx 40 USD cheaper, Q10 has better hardware (now when double typing problems are taken care of in OS) and looks more premium.
Or purchase from Amazon unpacked Symbian Nokia, they are popping here and there in 70-100 range.

I really like this post. It's refreshing to see someone with your good attitude.

The Q10 will serve you well. It's low cost, well designed, has the latest BlackBerry software, a removable battery and has a ton of case options.

Oddly, the only people who think the Q5 is a lower quality device than the Q10 are those who don't own one. There are actually Q10 owners who prefer the Q5 (check the Q5 forums).

I've not owned a Q10 but can honestly say that my now almost two year old Q5 is the best BlackBerry I've owned, and for me as a long time BlackBerry user, the quintessential traditional form factor BlackBerry. I'd thoroughly recommend the Q5!

I didn't own any of these devices but I have friends who are very satisfied with the Q5 unlike of the Q10

I have also owned a Q10 and that is a great little device and now can be found very cheap on the auction sites.

I love my Q10..it's a powerful little beast. The keyboard 🎹 is great and it's very compact. My best BlackBerry I've owned thus far. Waiting for the Passport SE to become cheaper, then i'll graduate to that.

lol with 8gb non expandable.. maybe on u. but on typical user and majority of users I dont think so.. as what ive read in some of forums that most of the beef they have on Q5 is the memory..

Go for the Q5. I think it suits your needs. Also, I don't think it is inferior to Q10. I think it is very well designed, looks cute, operates well with BB10 and is light and very portable. Anyway, enjoy your Berry.

ordered a Passport today!
but only because I got a Classic in use already and will do so further more, just still using the Classic as main day runner and the PP as semi Laptop replacement with BT-keyboard and BT-mouse for continents.
