If BlackBerry were to hire her to sell their phones I know I will sell my bb. I don't like it when a company with any kind of credit or professionalism uses sex to make money.

Is just his opinion like everyone else, why people tells him NO because doesn't suit BlackBerry?
If I don't remember wrong, Katy Perry was promoting the image of BlackBerry (yeah because she looks so business style and so professional).

I don't agree to hire her, will be a waste of money since BlackBerry is going to focus on Enterprise, so probably someone in the Business Industry is better.

But if it was just for normal consumers (17 - 35 years), yeah, she would be a great promotion like Justin Bieber or any other of those than can make their fans to buy that phone just because. If Justin Bieber has even a direct channel through BBM only available in BB10 devices, many of this kids will ask their dad's to buy the phone.

But joking aside, I don't think this would be a good plan. The media would have an easy target to bash BlackBerry for yet again picking another celebrity that doesn't really fit their core business plans

But get her to promote BBM Channels, that's what they should do!
