It is downsizing for good reason. Less hardware more focus on software and QNX

Good move on Blackberry part, if you have no need for a building and property then it is best to get rid of it because then you want have to pay any yearly taxes on it.

Aw, they could have at least turned it in a children's hospital and fill it with QNX based medical devices....

And back in the real world, selling non-required buildings is a good move until you expand your force and need the space again.

I thought I read someone where that Blackberry has a new building going up, which was started a couple of years ago. So, out with the old and in with the new.

They have four massive new buildings in the other side of Waterloo with plenty of room. These buildings are their oldest and most rundown.
