    No, they don't. You can log into your VZW Online account and make a switch there and complete the switch provisioning with a *228 OTA provision. Just because you haven't done it doesn't mean it's not possible. They've also updated the *228 OTA system to even allow the new phone change through prompts on it.
    This is true. But I do remember being on VZW a while back and I couldn't
    switch from a BB to a Treo because although they were the same priced
    data plans, they were different data plans. So they would require me to call
    CS to do the switch. I'm not sure if that has changed though....
