I want just the way it looks
How about changing the slider to horizontal slider. But still, it'll be quite thick and heavy
Posted via CB10
Maybe a 4" or 4.3. This 5" would be so top heavy when typing. I would welcome the trackpad and physical phone/end buttons.
I would buy this in a heartbeat.
Concept is great. Like others are saying, tweak the controls....... its a hit!
Love it

I would carry that torch.

I would pounce on this!!!!
With these specs, keyboard & by the time it would come to fruition, more apps, bbry just might stand a chance!!! BBRY.... BUILD IT!!!!! Chen, this could be your legacy....

I like the concept... I have a PSP-Go (slider handheld playstation) and it is not as heavy as the normal PSP... I think they use lighter material... I dropped my PSP-Go two times, nothing losened... I am confident.
I use a Q10 now... in 2 years maybe? (T-Mobile contract)
Oh, specs are good, add quadcore, RAM, device memo 64GB and it'll be mine on release day (plus shipping time)!

THIS^^^
As much as I loved the track pad, that ship has sailed.

Great idea and a very nice rendering. Definitely something for the Crew in Waterloo to consider.

If they released that, it would be mine. But it's a great concept and they loved their torch. :)

Beautiful.. but I think track pad is a drawback

I think the slider would be a bad idea. The slider days have come and gone. The keyboard was a risky move even though I have a Q, it's just not what people want anymore. They need to take a break from the phone game for a year and just focus on the OS. Look at apple fo

Delete last couple of words haha I tried to exit out of a toast notification and it ended up disappearing before I could hit the little X, which made me "post" instead :/

If only to be able to copy/paste the pad blows what bb10 has by a long shot. C/P on my cue10 simply sucks.
Should never have let it go. Try working your laptop without a mouse/stick/pad..see how well that works- not worth a damn.

I personally like the original concept (buttons and all). Here's an idea: Why not put the trackpad on the back of the phone? Kind of similiar to what LG did with the G2. All the reviews suggest that the (back) button placement is very user friendly.
What the H-E double hockey sticks is with those damn buttons and trackpad?
Absolutely. I dropped my 9810 for a G2 and the back buttons are just perfect for me. Unfortunately I jumped ship because BB dropped the slider concept, but if they produce something like this I go back in 5 minutes.
I think it would be a great addition to the line up and would stand in line for it.
Seriously, this Z10 is a Contender!! Keep it up BB
Well considering that that phones are not laptops, that doesn't exactly make sense to compare the two. Also, laptops are mainly used for typing longer word documents and emails while phones you are probably going to text more. Not saying that longer paragraphs aren't typed on phones, but it is less common.
With that being said, I personally feel that the BlackBerry bubble is quite good. You can drag it where you want and on the left and right side you can move it one space either way. Copy and pasting is as simple as every other phone. I don't see a problem.
However, since there will always be some people who haven't been able to adjust to the new way of doing things, a toggleable virtual trackpad could/should be included. It could be the friend of those BBOS adapters that haven't quite gotten used to the typing experience on BB10.
THANK YOU!!!!
I was just about to say that
Or even try to edit texts or email without mouse, it takes forever!!

Let me correct you on this
There are plenty of people who used their bold to type BOOKS, and I'm sure there are some people who still do it. Also, typing long emails is not as efficient as before, or as efficient as the 9900... why? The trackpad!!

The screen should be smaller (4" to 4.3"). If it's a 5" screen, the device doesn't need to come with slider keyboard and trackpad because those would make the phone bigger and heavier. Furthermore, typing experience with virtual BlackBerry keyboard on 5" device should be better. BlackBerry phone with 5" screen and slider keyboard is a waste.

I've dropped my Torch at least a few hundred times without a case and I'm still ticking no problem. Easily one of the best BB's ever. BlackBerry, if you don't hurry up and MAKE THIS DAMN PHONE, I'm outta here, along with the last of your hold-outs. Ignore these morons who insist your success can only be had by copying everyone else's phone.
