3.5ish screen eInk back lit capable screen (similar to the Paperwhite) with 300+ ppi
Quad Core processor (heck, dual would work, too)
    Touch sensitive keyboard
    2500 mAh removable battery

What would you think of this? Purchasable? Sellable?

Personally, I think it would be my dream device. I'm realizing that my Q10 is all communication and reading (news, chats, emails, forums, web) with an occasional picture here and there. So I thought, why not an upgraded Q10 with an eInk screen?

Battery life would be outstanding, long term use would be easy on the eyes, you could have all the features of a kindle without the slowness and terrible typing of a kindle!

It would never be made, but would anyone else like it?

I like the idea of an E Ink screen, but I think it should be on the back of the device. On the front you have the normal screen and keyboard and on the reverse you have the E Ink, and it can be big since there is no keyboard back there. When you want to read something on E Ink you just find the E Ink option under the share list.

How about a BlackBerry Passport flip design with a e ink screen on the front.

The idea is intriguing, is today's e-ink fast enough?

I wasn't sure if eInks were slow because of the magnet technology or the internals.

I like this idea, provided E-Ink can handle real time typing nicely. This would be the realization of the "anti distraction device" that I wanted to make for writers years ago. I thought it would be great to have an e-ink laptop that had a great keyboard and was geared toward allowing writers to write wherever they happen to be. Sadly e-ink didn't exist then and alternatives are aplenty now lol...
