People don't like change. That's the only reason why the Q10 is selling.

Or is it because, in the words of cb's leadership, it really is the only viable option as far as keyboard devices are concerned? Actually, you know what? I don't even wanna debate this... Even after a few beers I just don't have it in me. Everyone in their right mind knows that the q10 is gonna be one of the sickest devices ever to hit the market

Not really people don't like change. QWERTY keyboards are built for pure text while back touch screen is more for consumer use. Someone whose not to concerned with testing just simple short quick text messages and the rest is browsing and gaming.

Business people and serious texters still prefer the feel of physical keys on their fingers and I'm not going to lie in some ways I do miss the iconic keyboard of my 9900 the Z10 has a great virtual keyboard and offers a lot of screen realistate for gaming but it just doesn't have the same fed back when I'm pounding off emails or messages. I'm not a slow typer and my fingers fly through the keys and i still do rely on auto correct to fix the mistakes I make that I never used to do on my bold.

This form factor is not dead, just neglected. If the Q10 is a success watch for high end QWERTY's from Samsung and Nokia. I bet that Apple could come up with a really great QWERTY if they thought there was a market ( but they are too anal to do it) .

It's not people fearing change. If keyboards weren't needed, they'd be extinct already. I love my Z10, but it's my personal phone. If I had to send work emails on it I'd rather have the Q10. Far fewer embarrassing typos.

Lol I've only owned QWERTY smartphones and changed to the Z10 in a heartbeat. It's not just that people don't like change.
