I have a Playbook and a 9900 Bold and live in North America: both have power plugs that indicate 100-240VA. I believe that the only thing required to plug into an Asian power source should be a plug adaptor for the country being visited. The Blackberry power plug should be able to handle the difference in power from country to country. Got in touch with BB support, and they said "to be on the safe side" I should use a converter. This has got to be incorrect...the BB plug is labeled such that you would assume a converter would not be necessary, but three different BB techs all said the same thing...use a converter. I'd like some real world feedback.
