Most of the ones listed on eBay were either new or open box with prices ranging from around $1700.00 and up. Unless you're interested in the vanity PIN number and want to have an unusual looking device that no one else has to show off, you might be better suited to buying a 9900. They're basically the same phone on the insides, but the 9900 is much less expensive.
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a unique identifier for all BlackBerry devices.
This number is essential for sending PIN to PIN messages or for using BlackBerry Messenger
(BBM).
I have to ask, with as little as you seem to know about even the basics of the
BlackBerry isn't this quite a long way (in $$) to go to show off?
I just dont use bbm that doesnt mean i dont know anything about blackberry. And im not buying it to show off i just absolutely love the design and im sure many people may just see it as frivolous spending but i dont.
Even if it was OP's first BlackBerry, It's not hard to see that OP appreciates the quality of the hardware. I'll trade plastic for stainless steel all day. Hope you find yourself a good deal.
