I think after the hype dies down, BlackBerry will update bbm with voice or video chat to regain that hype and then bbm will be more powerful then ever. Also on its way to killing Viber.

Yup... I believe that would be their strategy...
Throw some hypes with bbmx,
After the fire has dwindled down, add an update with voice, and after that one has dwindled, throw in video update.

And when everyone thinks all is done, bbm channel came out of beta and hit everyone with much later update.
Bammm... BlackBerry will be the talk of the town months after months to come.

Among other reasons, this one seems to be the best advantage of BBMX. Doesn't matter what is being said, it just is.
I was against them bringing BBM out without all the bells and whistles, but after reading this thread, it now seems like a better plan to hold off on it.
