Playbook was always a great name but unfortunately the name now is synonymous with failure and forgotten dreams.

Since its such a great name I think they should keep 'playbook' but instead of Playbook II/Playbook 2 they should follow Apple's naming and call in 'the New Playbook' which suggests reinvented and a fresh focus.

It would be nice to have the name PlayBook back, but as mentioned in this thread, the name came with a bad reputation, though we know this device is still in use today regardless of the lost of security, basic updates and adobe.
We know we can do with a device with a better profile.

I would expect it to be named on the platform, it was built in throughout BlackBerry life, called "Work"

Yes, "Play" sounded nice, but it wasn't taken seriously enough.
I took mine seriously, but I always bemused anyone when I said I was going to do my work on it.

Playbook I think was a very well crafted name that still has serious business themes. Loosely the definition of a playbook is the ideas that drive you. It banks on a sports analogy which is common in the business word and builds on the idea of the secret plays and ideas that drive the team.

You would think when comparing "work" over "play" words with work would be the obvious choice but I don't think this is the case with "workbook" and "playbook". To me workbook has images of books for gradeschool and playbook has images for strategy for a team. The later I think is more compatible within the business world than "workbook"

Couple it in with USB OTG, NFC, ability to run 2-3 apps simultaneously, full landscape support and you have the ultimate tablet!

This is the kind of thing BlackBerry should look at for inspiration. If they actually released some of the best dream devices here, they'd probably be better off, since we have a better idea of what the public likes

Thing is, if you've got a tablet running Windows 10 Professional you don't need Android for anything.

And with the in-built BitLocker feature, you can protect your tablet's data if it ever gets stolen. So there isn't even any compelling need for BlackBerry 10 OS.

No physical keyboard? No spread across the pad, just two sets of keys on each side so one must become familiar with typing letters and numbers spread quite a ways from each other.. that stuff would be revolutionary
