I've always wanted to know. What on earth are the 'group' options for in BlackBerry Pin Messenger? It's not like you can send a message to an entire group, so, why bother?

    Do you use groups?
Is it worth while to setup?

Great Q Navi. I guess its to help identify where you know people from LOL. I used to have it set up where all the CB users were in one group, personal friends were in another, then people on the east coast and west coast yadda yadda yadda...

This is mostly for businesses. For me I would have a group for my ANS department. One group for FRAUD and so on and so forth. If I ever have a question/issue/concern for one of those departments, I would be able to reference them easily.

I actually have two groups. One for CB and the other for co-workers (non business phones)

Also for me a couple of my co-workers have one for work and one for personal. I would have both names on, one in personal section and one in work.

There are no additional charges to send PIN messages or BBM messages to folks in other countries. That is one of the benefits of BBM. International SMS is expensive. I have BBM friends who are in countries other than the US. Several of my friends are in Canada.
