    A Verizon rep told me today that both the Classic and Passport are due to launch on February 26th. However, they cannot make an announcement until after ATT gets their exclusive launch on the 20th.

    That would be amazing if they were able to get a Passport over to Verizon, but there hasn't been any mention of that in any forums. And as someone else mentioned, if there was a rumor about it, we probably would have heard about it so far. But let's cross our fingers and hope this is true.

    The Classic I believe (since other sources have mentioned it). Doubt it about the Passport though. I don't see AT&T having an exclusive lasting only 6 days.

    FCC has never passed any CDMA based BlackBerry Passport.

    That site refers to a report from Valuewalk. If you go to Valuewalk, you'll see that they only state the Classic will be on the 26th. As well, Valuewalk's source is "a reader from crackberry", which would have been a recursive source. So, sadly, no joy.

    I'm not going to say that Verizon might not carry the Passport at some point.... if sales are good for the Classic and AT&T does well with it. But to come out next week... too much would have to happen that we would be hearing a LOUD shout of joy (at least here).

    Agreed. The Passport would have to be a resounding success on AT&T before Verizon would even consider placing an order for a version of the device that would work on their network.

    If you follow that link, and the trail for the source in that link; you'll find that the originating source never mentions the Passport (only the Classic). And that the source is cited as a "crackberry reader" (as in... a user of this forum). It's a recursive source, which isn't actually a source at all, since a thread making a claim can't be it's own source.

    I just spoke to Verizon over the phone. I was told that Verizon is going to carry the Passport "very soon" and they put me on a list to notify when it is available. I asked why a device has not passed through the FCC and was told that was "not accurate"
