Nice, it's actually shown twice and those appear to be quite pivotal moments in the movie's plot!

Saw the trailer for that in the movies just this evening...

Lol cool! How did this come to happen? BlackBerry product placement..
Nice. I wish there was a clearly visible logo, however. I don't know how many people, aside from the BlackBerry fan club, will recognize that's a BlackBerry.

Good product placement

Hopefully not an official product placement:
1. screen was cracked (but that could be due to circumstances not shown in the trailer)
2. P9981 is $2000+, not exactly average consumer friendly (though it could get people to look at the new BlackBerry's)

What a gorgeous phone. Why can't blackberry make a BlackBerry 10 device with this body shape.

Doesn't look that great to me. It looks old.

Finally doing some product placement in movies. It's a start.

1. The screen being cracked could be due to an action not shown in the clip.
2. Downey's character is a high priced lawyer so he can afford it. That's who it was created for due to its exclusivity. It was never for the average person. Lawyers, doctors, dentists, political figures, etc go to movies too.

Great to see them using a BlackBerry in the movie. The keyboard will give it away that it's a BlackBerry, only a few will realize it's a Porche model.

Now that's a classy phone!

I always have an eye for the P9981. Dunno if it's worth it to get one though since we r starting to hear about a q10' P9983 version.

They are? Atleast that's what I've heard.
