Verizon is getting neither. Blackberry has minimum order requirements to produce a CDMA version of any phone and Verizon has to determine what they can sell based on their past history. Either or both of which precludes Big Red from getting this phone.

There was a statement that ''Verizon doesn't allow unlocked devices on their network''. It isn't so much that they don't allow it as much as CDMA networks aren't compatible with GSM unlocked phones. I suppose BlackBerry could make a phone compatible with verizon and sprint but, again, CDMA is small potatoes in the world wide market of cellular.

The good news is in a few years, verizon should be compatible with standard unlocked phones using only LTE.
I have Tmobile but to be honest, I think Verizon has more LTE coverage than all of Tmo's coverage.
