I am running at present version 5.0.0.190 / platform 5.2.0.11 on my 8900.
I see that the "future" Storm 2 is running (among others) version 5.0.0.138 / platform 4.3.0.28 (ref)
So, my question is, when everyone is talking about OS 5, is this referring to the version or the platform?
And a follow-up - why is there such difference in the OS naming convention? I cannot possibly imagine how a current phone has an "older" platform? Forgive my lame interpretation but isn't a "platform" the thing all stuff is built upon?
