Hey it looks like RIM is going to be putting out some new hardware soon. OS 6.1 supports a digital compass for augmented reality. Open Gl 2.0 for great 3d graphics. They currently don't have a phone that can do all of that. Looks like the storm 3 might be it for the release. What does everyone think
open gl items for storm2 never really took off, hope they will better on whatever runs it next
heres how i see it, Mike L confirmed that QNX OS can run OS6/java software, so it would be totally feasible to build OS6.1 and transition the hardware to QNX spec hardware, then work behind the scenes to make the tablet UI and full QNX facilities available for the device.
not saying it will happen, but maybe, who knows.

If possible. I don't have a problem with it and don't really care if it's mine that gets the axe. They could put one in a 6.1 Forum and keep the other in the News & Rumors forum.
Do you think they will make a version of 6.1 for 9700? At least a skimmed one? Becouse I think the open GL is not ever for 9700... (Don't care actually, if I want to play a game, I turn on my notebook, but anyway, the graphics of the new 6.1 is something I want for my BB.)
