Just wondering if one could determine screen size by resolution and ratio?
Rumors say that that OS 10 QWERTY version will have a 720 x 720 1:1 screen .
What would the diagonal screen size be in inches?
From what I have been able to figure out, it will be 3.1" screen on the Blackberry Bold 99xx(EXAMPLE: Bold 9900 and Bold 9930 with a 2.8" screen, trackpad and keys) series. There is no reason to develop a new phone when the ratio already fits.
So we will be seeing a Blackberry Bold 99xx omitting the trackpad and keys(EXAMPLE: Blackberry Bold 9910 GSM and Blackberry Bold 9940 CDMA) running BlackberryOS 10. Hope this helps and I am excited that it is nearing!
Apparently the screen size will be around 3.1-inches with a resolution of 720 x 720 and 330 ppi and it looks as though the N-Series will make use of OLED display components.
