(1) nice ID with good color balance. Well done.
(2) front camera aperture might be a bit small - selfy need good lighting. Back Camera depth might be a problem if the device is very thin (see below).
(3) overall the thickness look a bit on the thin side, you do need space for antenna and connection-personally, I would see the Cr edge wrap around come back, provide both structure rigidity and "manlyness", that is currently shortage of supply in the market (dark is nice. I go for "I'll stop wear black until someone invent anything darker" - piano black is on call for me).
(4) Display as contact surface is bad idea - when put face down on table, both upon impact as well as scratch on slide, a bit lower than the protection bazel would be nice.
(5) speaker location and sound exit might need a little consideration. - if you are serious about the design, take out a second hand phone and pull out some of the taller device, such as speaker, camera, battery, etc, that might impact the thickness of the device and try stack up and get a real feeling of the outline.
(6) again very nice propotion and ID. "Mobile handset design" by cambridge and "Materials and design" by prof. Ashby might help to perfect it. Really appreciate your design - I am not from BB. just a BB shareholder. (and holding a Bold).

Really wish BlackBerry would have tapped into all of the artistic talent on here. Maybe have a few contest...... members on here would vote to choose the best design(s). That way members would have another reason to want BlackBerry to succeed. The design winners would be flown out to have a meeting with Chen and the R&D team.... and...... (wakes up). Yawn, what a cool dream. 😎
