    I got a software update of 5mb from BlackBerry and after updating it I am not able to connect my phone to the link and when connected to the laptop the battery sign on my BlackBerry shows a red exclamation mark than charging. Can someone tell me why this is happening?

    Link is a POS. I can only connect for backups and such if i reboot both PC and the phone and have BB protect shut off. Sometimes that doesnt even work.

    As for getting a red exclamation when charging i have not had that occur yet so I cant help with that specifically.
